Dry Cleaning
Among the many laundry services and dry cleaners in the downtown area, several will pick up and deliver to Avant. Among those are: Belvidere Cleaners (pick-up and delivery on Monday and Thursday), Aladdin Cleaners (pick-up and delivery on Wednesday), Big Four Cleaners, and Urban Valet.

Restaurants

Beyond Bella Ciao, there are dozens of restaurant choices within blocks. From coffee shops to nationally reviewed continental cuisine to top-ranked steakhouses, the neighborhood offers options for every palate.

Entertainment

There is day-to-night entertainment in the adjacent Chippewa Entertainment District featuring a variety of clubs, restaurants and music styles.

There are a number of activities, festivals, and events hosted along the Delaware/Elmwood Corridor. Some of the organizations that are instrumental in these areas are: The Elmwood Village Association, Buffalo Place, and the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center.  

A short walk up Huron Street connects to the free downtown train on Main Street which runs between Shea’s Theater and HSBC Arena – home of the Buffalo Sabres and dozens of other entertainment events. Stops include the Erie Basin Marina and Coca Cola Field (home of the Buffalo Bisons - the AAA affiliate of the New York Mets).
